Presenting the Gawith Villa Googlebird: symbol of collective creativity, and also the whole amounting to more than the sum of its parts! Posted by Picasa

We are not afraid of the Googlebird: the Googlebird doesn't bite! From left to right, the friends of Googlebird: Lee (Leanne), Eleanor, Katie (Katrina), Anna and Gary. Posted by Picasa

And a big thumbs up and thank you have to go to Jo, for taking these pictures for us, Robyn, for helping to separate them from Jo's photos into their own little folder, and Samy for sending them via email, so we can upload them! Posted by Picasa

Nicole's post

I like the photos that are on the blog already. The Googlebird reminds me of the old G.V. We at Gawith Villa are no longer in the old place in the photos, but we are now in a new place. I like it, because it is nice. I can use Peter's computer to do a blog, which I have never done before, and wanted to do for some time. Clients still do not have their own computer online, which is why no one has added to this blog for some time!

In the time since anyone last added to this blog, Lee-Anne has also become completely committed to Richmond, instead of Collingwood!

I feel very excited to be allowed to sit in Peter's office and put something on this blog.

I am having salad for lunch, but Claire will just have her usual Twisties. I like Claire; she is nice! We could have been at the library by now, but no one could arrange a taxi back for us. There was a funny scraping noise outside just now. I wonder what it was. In the afternoon, I might get a massage.

Lee's milestone

Today, at RDA, Lee-anne reached another milestone, of, not only riding alone without a guide rope, as anticipated, but also leading all the other riders around the course, including weaving through the sticks. We hope to have a picture of this by next week, to show you all this wonderful achievement! Well done, Lee!

Lee's solo art exhibition was also a great success, and raised over $600!

And just to set the record straight, while Lee has had some wonderful times at the football with Deb, and adopted Richmond as a second footy team, she has not completely swapped allegiances, and still ardently follows Collingwood!

Colin's wishlist, by Colin Maxwell Jenkins

I want some Bibles with some new small books, the small Bibles in the shops, and the big Bibles, 18 Bibles for everyone at Gawith Villa.
I would also love the lord Alister to be coming to God's own house.
I also want $46.80 for lunch, for five days of the week, and for every week of the year, and every year of the century.
Also, I wish to go out fishing with Peter and his friends in his minibus, so as we don't have to pay for our lunches.*
I would love to go to church of a Sunday and be with Mother and Father.

(*Doesn't that sound Biblical, Peter going out fishing with all his friends?)

To the world government:

Would you please bring some mighty big ships, as big as the Tasmanian transport ship, for people and their families?
If we get the big tanks on the tankers, then I, God, say we get to try and push in from using a huge, flat wall of steel.
If we get to be clearing up the whole of the waters, on top of the waters and below them, we try and strain the waters and try and desperately stop the octopi from squirting out black oil, and getting to squirt out even red oil, for the book writers, and blue oil, also for writing, for writers doing their jobs. See they don't squirt out black oil, not just for drivers. It seems that writers themselves are like octopi under the sea, squirting out words in black, blue and red oil! As I, God, do mean this, that black oil can be used for writing with pens, by writers of books.

A letter from the Dept. of Primary Industries to Colin

27th February, 2007

Dear Mr Jenkins,

ESSO and BHP Billiton Bass Strait Exploration Program

I am writing in response to your letter of 22nd January 2007 in which you asked that DPI look into the activities of ESSO and BHP Billiton in relation to penguins and octopi.

In preparing its environment plan, ESSO was required to consider the possible impact of its operations on all marine life, including penguins and octopi. As implied in your letter, the likely impact on penguins and octopi is from oil spills. Consequently, ESSO's environment plan details how the facilities will avoid oil spills and, if there is a spill, how ESSO will work with agencies to clean up the spill.

To date, there have been insignificant spills associated with ESSO's petroleum production facilities. The Department is aware that there have been oil spills/discharges in the Bass Strait, but these have been associated with ships. The Australian Maritime Safety Authority is responsible for the regulation and prevention of pollution from ships.

If you would like to provide feedback on the Little Penguins project, I suggest you contact Ms Diana Russell Coot. Regional Manager External Affairs and Community Australia/Asia from BHP Billiton through the BHP Billiton office on 1300 554 757 or contact the Phillip Island Nature Park on 5951 2800.

Yours sincerely,

Geoff Collins
Petroleum Development Manager

Some nice ideas I had about the drought while sleeping, by Colin

We must get our navy involved to help with the drought conditions, to bring the rest of the water to the reservoirs, for everyone's water, except the hospitals. The mineral water is very low, too. I do feel that our water drought can be ended for all of the southern hemisphere.
By the way, when I was seeing and hearing the Lord's discussion on the oil and mining crisis, Russia, China, India, the USA, the UK and Australia are sending their armed forces to both the North and South poles for everyone's water. We can melt all the ice on the poles for water. They will also need health equipment. The Australian Commonwealth government MPs go and discuss building projects, and if there is or isn't enough money for building hospitals.

To the Australian Commonwealth Government:

On the Australian oil crisis:

I, Colin Maxwell Jenkins, would like to ask you all in the Prime Minister's Department, about the oil of our planet, especially that of the eight nations. Eight governments are stealing it.
As I say, I believe that these eight nations should be prosecuted by the Bible; the Pope will prosecute them. You should all know this as I do.
The eight nations include the USA, Russia, India, China, Germany and Britain, and I am not sure about Yugoslavia. I am also not sure about Germany and Japan.
The countries that try and steal oil from Australia or any other country will be prosecuted by a religious court.
The countries want to appeal for oil, either on the land or the ocean. They want to drill in the oceans and gulfs and Bass Strait. I was not too sure about having to be drilling for more oil, uranium in our country, or any other country of the world. Colin Maxwell Jenkins would love to tell you all, "No drilling in any water forbidden by a religion, and lands too." Also I am not too sure about North Korea, who on the 13th and 14th February, wanted to turn uranium into oil, or coal to be turned into oil. We also have yellow oil for the world. Ampol and BHP should do some drilling now. or the sea and ocean.

The Liberal Party's own God will become a good Prime Minister, who will live forever. The Liberal Party will revive the spirit of former Prime Minister Sir Robert Menzies and his good treasurer Sir John McEwan by the election in December 2007. All the nations of the world are to be forbidden to drill in the South Pole, and also in the whole of Central Australia.
At the South Pole, I have seen on channel 2, there are some oil nations and Australian companies wanting to drill for oil, and some people trying to cross the ice were in jeopardy, even when they tried to cross the ice quickly enough.
They were't able to stay up high enough.
As they fell into a big hole, the Australian navy had to send a fleet to save them.
If they need to do anything else, they will need to bring some medical and other equipment, including mechanical. They might even need 2,000 wheelchairs.
